While some people may associate a delicious pecan pie as an iconic holiday desert for Christmastime, the truth is: National Pecan Pie Day actually falls right in the heart of summertime. In fact, in 2019, National Pecan Pie Day falls on Friday, July 12th. Coincidentally, there’s a pecan farm in South Carolina that dates all the way back to the 1920s – and a pie from the bakery is a delightful treat any time of year.

Now that you know about National Pecan Pie Day (the second Friday in July), you can begin preparing for the big day any moment between now and then.
