You’ll want to be mindful of the weather conditions and tide before taking your car out there to avoid getting stuck. It’s also important to note that driving down the beach is not allowed - just parking in a designated spot.

While some people are concerned about the environmental hazards posed by vehicles, others are glad to have closer access to the beach. For folks who use wheelchairs, for instance, parking right on the sand allows them easier accessibility.
