This past fall, 600,000 bulbs were planted in the fields at the farm. They are waiting underground to burst into a full range of color when the time is right.

The timing of the tulip extravaganza depends on Mother Nature’s whims, but the farm expects to open mid-April and close mid-May. You can check out the bloom report over the next few weeks to see when the fields will be ready to visit.

You’ll need a ticket to enjoy the tulip farm. A limited number of admissions are sold to keep the event from being overcrowded. No long lines or traffic jams means more fun in the tulip fields.

For 2019, adult tickets cost $17 on the weekend and $15 on the weekdays and include 10 u-pick tulips. Additional flowers can still be purchased for $1 per stem. Kids ages 4-17 are $3 each and do not include tulips. Kids 3 and under can visit the farm for free.
