Nestled into the landscape in upstate South Carolina is an urban oasis: the South Carolina Botanical Garden. Its 295 acres are in the heart of Clemson and possibly one of the last great things you can experience in the state – without spending a dime (not even for parking!).

The South Carolina Botanical Garden is located at 150 Discovery Ln., Clemson, SC 29634. It’s open year-round. Admission is free. The hours vary by season: March through October 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and November through February from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Plenty of free parking is available in the main lot at the address above.
