February is chocolate lover’s month and we found the perfect (and sweetest) day trip for you to take this time of year. Bedré Fine Chocolate in Davis is home to handcrafted, gourmet chocolates that are nationally recognized. They make the chocolate right there on-site in the factory, and when you tour the facility, you can watch them make the decadent chocolate through the glass windows.

Bedré Fine Chocolate is located just off I-35 at Exit 55 in the town of Davis. They began over 40 years ago and in 2000 were bought by Chickasaw Nation who then turned this once small chocolatier into a nationally recognized luxury chocolate brand.

Step inside the Gift Shop and you’ll be surrounded by thousands of products and gifts made from their specialty chocolate.

There’s also a state-of-the-art, 34,600 square-foot manufacturing facility where you can watch them make the chocolate.

Bedré makes premium quality chocolate that has become nationally recognized. If you can’t make the trip to the factory, they have an online shop so you can get many products shipped right to your front door.

As you tour the factory and gift shop there are lots of samples or you can purchase chocolate creations by the pound.

They just came out with a new product - the dark chocolate premium sauce - and it’s heavenly poured on your favorite ice cream flavor.

Right next door to Bedré Fine Chocolate is the Chickasaw Nation Welcome Center and park that is also a fun place to visit.
