There are many small towns in Kentucky that are packed with great local restaurants, but one stands out for its scrumptious offerings. When we shared our love for the food scene in Murray (you can read all about it here), you definitely agreed – however, many locals were quick to point out that we forgot one of the most popular places in town: Victor’s Sandwiches. We saved this tasty place for a feature all of its own, because this famous Kentucky sandwich shop has over 50 different subs on the menu, and each one is as delicious as the next.

For over 30 years, Victor’s has been the sandwich shop of choice in the entire Murray area of Kentucky. It’s the type of place that when you’re new to town or passing through, every local will recommend checking out.

The sandwich shop has a wonderfully inviting vibe, where longtime customers and brand new guests are all welcome. It’s quirky and filled with character, perfectly matching the personality of the owner and his vast, delicious menu.

The menu can admittedly be a bit overwhelming the first time you see it - the options feel endless. Of course, sandwiches take up most of the space, but Victor’s also offers hot dogs, burgers, a variety of potato skins, nachos, and more.
