When summer comes around in New Hampshire all we want to do is get outside. There are plenty of hikes and fun adventures in the mountains to be had, but sometimes we just want good old fashioned amusement park fun. And in the summer, there’s nothing better than a water park to help cool down. Today we’re focusing on one of our favorite summer places in the Granite State. It’s a fun water park, but it also offer the adventure that comes with being at an amusement park.
Canobie Lake Park, in Salem, has been making New Hampshire families happy since 1902.

The adventure rides are fantastic, but this place is extra special because it’s one-stop-shop that also offers water rides!

The river begins with a dip in the wave pool as you make your way to the start of the river. The river creates waves every 10 seconds which send you through the Castaway Island oasis. It’s a great way to relax and one of just a few that exist in the country.

Start your day with the water park and then spend the rest of the day with dry adventures, or do things the opposite way. No matter the order, you’re sure to have a great time.
