Who says tacos have to be casual eats? Not us! We’ve found a tiny taco spot in New Jersey that serves up some seriously gourmet options — there are more than a dozen to choose from. If you want a fun dining experience, look no further than A Taco Affair in Little Falls.

A Taco Affair/Google The special as of press time was a breakfast taco complete with homemade pork breakfast sausage, fried egg, Belgian waffle bits, and sriracha maple syrup. Yum! Past specials have included a chicken tikka masala taco and a corned beef taco.
And we can always count on their (anything but) everyday menu to have something delicious. There are 13 terrific tacos to choose from, and I feature several below.
Brian Baird/Google I have to start with the Jerk Chicken Taco! It’s got spicy grilled jerk chicken, green cabbage, pineapple salsa, and cilantro aioli. Another favorite is the Herb Marinated Steak Taco with marinated steak, baby arugula, crumbled blue cheese, dried figs, creamy lemon pepper dressing, and crispy onions. In a seafood mood? Try the Po Bo Taco — cajun popcorn shrimp, red tomato, green cabbage, and old bay mustard aioli.They’ve, of course, got traditional tacos (seasoned ground beef, lettuce, tomato, and cheddar cheese), along with vegan options like the Tofu Banh Mi (soy marinated tofu, cucumber, pickled carrots, cilantro, and sriracha aioli). Tacos are served in either corn tortillas or a lettuce wrap.
