For those times when the family isn’t out exploring nearby attractions, the KOA has a few fun activities the whole family can enjoy including mini-golf and a game room.

But you’ll likely be wiped out after a day at nearby Darwin Wright Park, also known as Anderson Beach. This free park is only 9 miles to the north of the campground and less than a mile off I-85. A visit to nearby Lake Hartwell State Park is only 15 miles south on Interstate 85. Here, you and the kiddos can explore the lake via boardwalks and piers as well as hiking trails. Bring a picnic lunch and spend all day at this fun park!

At the end of the day, head back to camp to cook dinner, or just pop over to Portman Marina. The popular marina and a couple of restaurants are less than a mile away from the KOA.
