What makes this place really unique is also its focus of not only North Dakota history but also North Dakota heritage. The park has a Scandinavian Stabbur to help teach about and celebrate the large amount of North Dakotans descended from Scandinavian immigrants.

Quite a few small towns in North Dakota come from Czech roots, as well, and Prairie Outpost Park has that covered, too. The Ceska Radnice, or Czech Town Hall, is gorgeously unique.
