Though you’re probably not thinking about a trip to the waterpark at the moment, Maryland has a huge new summer attraction in the works.
A $200 million, 44-acre waterpark is set to open at Great Wolf Lodge in Cecil County. The park will be right next to the Hollywood Casino Perryville that is planned for 2022. The waterpark will offer lots of slides, wave pools, and space to lounge. Though there aren’t yet details about specific slides and attractions planned, you can be sure that the waterpark will be a huge draw for locals and visitors to the area.

The 450,000-square-foot project won’t just cater to those looking to splash down. The complex will also offer 500 hotel rooms, a 1,000-person conference center, restaurants, and entertainment areas.
