There’s plenty to love about summertime in New Hampshire, but what we might love best are the many dining options that seem to come alive when the weather gets warm. Among them are the restaurants that line the state’s waterways. You can spend your time near the beach, or on the lakes further inland. But, we love this spot that’s been around for seemingly ages.
BG’s Boathouse Restaurant & Marina in Portsmouth was founded by Bruce and Joanne Graves in 1978.

It’s located right on Sagamore Creek, which means there are lots of water views to be had.
