If you’re looking for somewhere especially lovely to take an easy hike, there’s an Alaska lake trail in the Matanuska Valley that is absolutely stunning! Right off the Glenn Highway is a picture perfect lake with an easily accessible trail that circles the lake for the best views!

Alaska has no shortage of stunning little hikes that you can take on a beautiful afternoon.

De’Etta Goecker / AllTrails The Reflection Lake Trail is a beautiful little stroll conveniently located off the Glenn Highway. It’s right next to the Knik River, and part of the path sneaks between the lake and the river.

Some of the muddy or boggy areas of the trail have been thoughtfully laid with boardwalk.

The whole trail isn’t boardwalk however, and the path meanders beneath some stunning tree canopies.
