From state parks to nature conservancies, we’ve got some of the best loop trails that are perfect for a weekend adventure.   1. Kiroli Park Loop

Kiroli Park/Facebook Located in West Monroe, this beautiful park should go on everyone’s bucket list. All of their trails are less than two miles in length, most of them connect to each other to make a nice little loop through the scenic park. There are multiple playgrounds for the kids, a pond for fishing, a hammock village, and so much more.

  1. White Tail Trail

Cheri Holbrook/All Trails Named for the abundance of white tail deer in the area, this 2.6-mile loop trail is located within Lake Claiborne State Park. You’ll have some stunning views of the lake on your exploration, and of course, keep your eyes peeled for deer.

It’s a great trail for biking, hiking, or even horse back riding, and you’ll be able to hear the chimps from the nearby chimpanzee sanctuary, making you feel like you’ve been transported to another world.

There are six miles of hiking trails at this nature station and several of them loop together to make for an easy trail you can knock out in less than an hour.
