The trails that criss-cross throughout the state of Maine are the best in New England. Whether you love hitting those high summits and bagging peaks or simply appreciate a stroll through the woods, there’s something for just about every level of outdoor enthusiast. This hike is a shorter one, but it also offers some of the most lush landscape views. And the end? The end is the best part!

We love this hike because, while relatively simple and non-challenging, the reward at the end makes it feel like a true adventure and journey.
