The monks here come from all different backgrounds, and walks of life. The monastery got its start in 2014 with just two members, but over the last few years, many others have come to stay for awhile, or for several years.

The best time to visit is during morning hours between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., or for meditation at 5 a.m. or 7 p.m. During afternoon and early evening hours, the monks are practicing in solitude.
