Drive-in theaters are slowly becoming a thing of the past, which is unfortunate. Luckily, we’ve still got a few of them here in the Last Best Place. When you’re feeling nostalgic on a warm, summer evening, hop in the car and head to Silver Bow Drive-In in Butte.
Silver Bow Drive-In is located at Exit 119 Off of I-15, about six miles south of Butte.

A second screen was added in 1980, making this the first twin drive-in theater in Montana.

The concession stand and projection booth here were once part of a drive-in located near Deer Lodge from 1949-1973.
