The Pour Vineyard is named for the Pour family. It is situated on a gorgeous property that has been a farm for more than 150 years, changing hands many times over the decades.

As many businesses do, this old farm vineyard started as an idea over drinks. Though the plan hatched in 2009, its true roots took to the earth six years later.

You’ll feel like you’re in Napa Valley, Bordeaux, and Tuscany all at once when you visit this magnificent yet little-known vineyard. There are six acres of vines growing several types of Illinois grapes that produce some of the finest wines in the area.

At the center of this old farm vineyard is a winery and tasting room with indoor and outdoor seating that overlooks a beautiful lake. Enjoy views of the water and rolling farmland as you sip perfectly poured glasses of vino.

Guests enjoy house red and white wines as well as special blends. There is also a small food menu of pizzas, meat and cheese plates, and dips to accompany your drinks.

This property is also great for weddings and other private events. You can even just have your photos taken here for any special occasion.
