You don’t have to be an experienced hiker to enjoy some of New Mexico’s beautiful trails. There’s a trail in the Lincoln National Forest that’s incredibly scenic, and it’s easy enough that even newbies can tackle it.
If you’re looking for a trail with incredible scenery that’s appropriate for all hikers, head to the Lincoln National Forest to find the Osha Trail.

This loop trail is just 2.2 miles long, and it’s easy enough for just about any hiker - even those with no hiking experience. Lace up your hiking boots, and start your adventure!

Much of this trail is nice and shady, tucked away in the trees, which makes for a nice respite on a warm day.
