Obviously, 200 years is more than enough time for some ghostly vibes to accumulate. The inn claims to be home to one ghost that occasionally plays practical jokes on the guests and staff.

On one occasion, the innkeeper, Mr. Barwick, found that three guests had been checked into the inn at 2:30 a.m. When he asked who let them in, they responded that an elderly woman in a long dress had shown the latecomers to their room.

There was no such employee on staff, nor did the description fit any of the guests. The innkeeper remains a skeptic, but has admitted to being unsettled.
