One of the many things I love about New Jersey is our wide array of independent businesses. Whatever you love, there’s likely a local shop that provides it. I love books. I also love the big chains that sell them, but I’d prefer to support smaller businesses. New Jersey is home to dozens of independent bookshops, each worth a visit. Some sell food, some focus on used books, some offer frequent author signings, and others play host to live music… I can’t choose a favorite as they’re all delightfully different, but I know where I go when I want a massive selection.
