The Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad Station was built in 1901, becoming an important hub for train travel throughout the East Coast.

And, the 80,000-square foot train station would continue to thrive until the 1960s. And, long after its heyday, the historic train station earned a spot on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Four years later, Chuck Muer restored the station to its former glory, opening it as The Grand Concourse, overlooking the Pittsburgh skyline and the Monongahela River.

Today, the popular restaurant, nestled in Pittsburgh’s Station Square, is known for its seafood and famous Sunday brunch.
