North Dakota is well known for its history with bison. From the days that thousands roamed the plains to now where they can still be found across the North Dakota prairie, this state is all about them! One small town is having its first ever Buffalo Festival to celebrate all things about them, and you can join in yourself this upcoming weekend.

North Dakota loves its bison, sometimes referred to as buffalo, and shows that in many ways. From the “world’s largest buffalo” statue in Jamestown, ND to the NDSU Bison mascot in Fargo.
