It’s hard to beat a summer day outside at the annual Porter Peach Festival eating FREE peach ice cream. The town of Porter is known as the “Official Peach Capital of Oklahoma” because they have the best peaches in the state. The annual Porter Peach Festival celebrates the area’s peaches with fun, food, and entertainment.

The festival takes place July 18-20, 2019, at the Livesay Orchards and Downtown Porter on Main Street.

There’s something fun for everyone at the festival. Play a few games, race in the 5K run, attend the car show, ride a bull, or check out the beautiful art at the art show.

You can also pick peaches at nearby orchards and enjoy some of the best peaches you’ve ever tasted.

You can also help the community by participating in the prized Peach Auction. The Livesay Orchards donates their best peaches to be auctioned off at the festival to help raise funds for the local Civic Center.

Other fun activities include the dessert and cooking contests. Guests are encouraged to enter their best peach concoction to see who is the best peach cook in town.
