Measuring 14.1 miles in total, it features a beautiful lake and plenty of rocks both around you and under your feet. The terrain is a little rugged, but not too much that the average person would have issue hiking here.

There are two main trailheads that make things easy to navigate from, but we recommend starting from the Elk City Fishing and Wildlife Office, which is closer to this beautiful overlook. Unless you’ve got the stamina and time to do the whole thing, that is.
