It’s a 5.3 mile moderate trail that showcases much of Alaska’s natural beauty.

The trail runs through an alder forest before opening up into grasslands and meadow.

You will cross two streams before beginning the only real uphill portion on the trail.

The hike up to the top of this hill is almost the entire 700 foot elevation gain, and it’s a little steep.
