Utahns just can’t get enough Mexican food. From award-winning spots like this to humble little taco carts like this popular cart in downtown Salt Lake City, tacos are certainly plentiful around the Beehive State. There’s a brand new taqueria in Salt Lake City that’s serving up some of the tastiest street tacos ever, and you’ll want to check it out soon.

Street Tacos SLC just opened in January, 2019, and we’ve already fallen in love.

You might recognize the building as a previous Wendy’s location. We can’t think of a better change - from a national fast food chain to a locally-owned taqueria!

The menu is pretty straightforward, and it’s full of tasty tacos. You’ll find 13 different kinds, and they start at just $2.79 each.

Choose from chicken, beef, pork, sausage, and more. Vegetarians will even enjoy the poblano peppers taco or sauteed cactus leaf taco.

You might think that these little gems would be pretty skimpy for less than three bucks, but nothing could be further from the truth. They’re absolutely stuffed with tasty taco fillings.

Seriously, the meat is piled so high on these tacos that you might have trouble folding them up. We’re sure you’ll find a way to get this taco tastiness into your mouth, though. Maybe grab a fork?

Give Street Tacos SLC a try. They’ve only been around for a few months, but with tacos this tasty, we’re sure they’ll be around for a long time. This little taqueria is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday til 3 a.m., so you can get your taco fix late, late at night.
