Of course, the historic wine cellar also boasts its own storied past. The enchanting stone wine cavern was originally built in the 1860s.

However, by the time the 21st century rolled around, the original South Shore Wine Company closed, leaving the stone wine cellar empty.

Then, in 2007, Robert Mazza, founder of Mazza Vineyards, purchased the historic property, re-opening it to wine connoisseurs and other guests all year-around.

Today, South Shore Wine Company, led by Mazza Vineyards, welcomes individual and groups for tours and wine tastings.

Enjoy a tour and wine tasting at South Shore Wine Company, with hours varying according to the season. Visit Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. from November through April.
