There’s tons to see and do at this aquarium, but one of the most popular exhibits here is the Passages of the Deep, which includes three underwater tunnels: Orford Reef, Halibut Flats, and Open Sea.

These tunnels are submerged right in the middle of large tanks that are home to all kinds of sea creatures, including bat rays, smaller fish of all sizes and colors, and even sharks. You’ll be fascinated by the three tunnels, each of which highlights a different ocean ecosystem.

You can really immerse yourself in Passages of the Deep when you join The Oregon Coast Aquarium for its Sleep in the Deep overnight sleepovers. Bring your sleeping bag and pillow, and bed down right inside one of the tunnels.

Knowledgeable staff will tell you all about the marine life that’s surrounding you, and you’ll participate in several hands-on activities during your sleepover.
