With that said, it’s time to venture outside of our everyday bubble to experience one of the most pristine lakes that you’ll ever lay your eyes upon. If you’re ready for a beautiful day along the waterfront, then set your sights on this crystal clear lake just east of Buffalo.

The small town of Skaneateles sits along the shores of what has become known as “The Roof Garden of the Lakes” - AKA Skaneateles Lake.

Its nickname comes from the fact that Skaneateles Lake sits at the highest altitude out of all the Finger Lakes. There’s truly no other body of water like this one.
