But, for a truly unique experience, lace up your walking shoes or hiking boots for a picturesque hike along the 1.9-mile Green Loop Trail.

A fairly popular trail, the Green Loop will lead to the highest point - 1250 feet - in Settler’s Cabin Park.

Of course, you’ll also arrive at the small but enchanting unnamed waterfall that falls into a small pool at its base.

Dip your feet in the pool before taking plenty of pictures from all angles. (Expect that the waterfall will be even more magnificent after a rainfall.)

Then, after you’ve completed the Green Loop, explore the rest of the park that features a wave pool, perfect for cooling down in the summer. (The wave pool is set to open on June 1, 2019.)

And, enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the picnic tables. Settler’s Cabin Park also has basketball and tennis courts.
