Daydreaming about the beach isn’t so rare these days, with freezing temperature and bouts of snow. Fortunately, there are plenty of coastal areas we can look forward to exploring as soon as the weather warms up again. One prime example is a little-known park in Norfolk, Virginia that happens to be right on the beach. Sarah Constant Beach Park may be modest in size but will provide you with a full dose of sand and salty air.
Sarah Constant Beach Park is a hidden gem of a park located along the coast of Virginia. It’s named for the Flagship Sarah Constant, which along with the Godspeed and the Discovery, landed at this point in 1607.
