Though we live on the shore of Lake Erie, we have a soft spot in our hearts for charming farms. Right here in Erie County behind the Ebenezer Ale House, the Buffalo area is home to its very own farm brewery: Rusty Nickel Brewing Company.

Only 10 miles outside of Downtown, the Rusty Nickel has a gorgeous 900-square-foot rustic tap room with plenty of seating available.

All throughout the year, the tap room features live music and regular Open Mic Night events.

If you happen to work up an appetite while you’re here, their food menu tends to consist of things like Traditional Italian Sausage and Margherita Flatbread Pizza, as well as shareable dishes like Ru’s Pierogi, Pizza Logs, Tater Tots, Chicken Tinders, and Chips & Salsa that are all oh-so good.

Set back from the road, the Rusty Nickel also has an 1,800-square-foot beer garden that’s perfect for relaxing at during the summertime.
