What are the best water parks in Kentucky? Kentucky offers several water parks and they each have their own, exciting features. Prizer Point is a unique spot with the inflatable water park, and so many other amenities and attractions on the campground property. Kentucky Splash Waterpark in Williamsburg is another fun-filled destination that is a more traditional park with many slides, a wave pool, and even an adjoining campground. When do water parks open in Kentucky? Typically, water parks in Kentucky open Memorial Day Weekend. Of course hours vary based on the park, and some do open earlier in May. What do I need to bring to a water park in Kentucky? Summertime can get very hot in Kentucky, so thankfully there are many water parks throughout the state.
