Join up with celebrity paranormal investigators on the most terrifying ghost hunt to ever hit the Hoosier state. If you’re not sure tortured spirits walk the earth, you’ll be convinced of it after a night at the Guyer Opera House in Lewisville, Indiana.
If you’ve always wanted proof that ghosts are real, now is your chance to get some. This spooky event is not for the faint of heart. Check it out… if you dare.
The Guyer Opera House was built in 1901 and is known as one of the only remaining gas-light theatres left in the country. It was rediscovered in Henry County in 1969 after about 20 years of abandonment (and who knows what else) and is now a nonprofit community theatre.
Paranormal Dares This two and a half story limestone building is located at 110 W Main St., Lewisville, IN 47352, and it was commissioned by a Dr. O. K. Guyer who died before its completion and who may still haunt its halls.
On May 4, 2019, this historic opera house will be opened up for a community ghost hunt hosted by Paranormal Dares. Attendants will get to participate in an actual active ghost investigation that is unlike anything they’ve ever witnessed or experienced.

Celebrity investigators Keith Fournier, Jessica Marie Angel, and Erik Knapp will be there to lead guests through the entire thing and assist with free-roam ghost hunts. The team will also host a meet-and-greet with guests where they’ll answer questions and give autographs.
Paranormal Dares/Facebook/OnlyInYourState Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
The ghost hunt lasts from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Participants will be set loose to explore the main theatre floor where the ghost of Dr. Guyer is most likely to be hanging around. He refuses to leave the creation he never got to see completed.
Paranormal Dares Another ghost you might come across is that of a young boy who died in a live firearms demonstration. Will his soul ever be put to rest? Ghost hunters can event spend time in the dressing rooms for an EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) session.
Guests of this event are encouraged to bring their own investigation equipment such as cameras, flashlights, and recorders. In order to participate, you must be at least 16 years of age and have a ticket. Tickets are $60 and can be purchased online (link below).
