By now, most people know that Portland, Maine has some of the best food and beverage in the country. From seafood to Vietnamese food to everything in between, if you’re hungry you better hope you’re in Portland! But, there’s one place that has a little something secret to it. You might know it as one of the most popular places for food and drinks in the Old Port, but did you know they actually have a second bar and eating area?

You can’t miss Blythe & Burrows when walking through Portland’s Old Port neighborhood. The dimly light interior can be seen from the street and on particularly cold days, the windows might be just a bit foggy.

The speakeasy feel is unmistakable, but the fact that it’s in Maine means you’re not dealing with anything pretension.
