Let’s face it; the beaches on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast don’t have the cleanest water. Luckily, the state is home to plenty of other beaches. Some are extremely well known and others don’t get the credit they deserve – and Old Bridge Beach definitely falls into the second category. Part of a small town recreation area, the beach is not only beautiful, but incredibly easy to access. And surprisingly, most residents don’t even know it exists. Take a look:
Pretty secluded, Old Bridge Beach Recreation Area is located in New Site, which is an unincorporated community in Prentiss County.

Completely worth the time (and miles) it takes to get to, the recreation area has a lot to offer, including a beautiful white sand beach.
