For the sixth year in a row, the online user review site Yelp has released a Top 100 Places In The U.S. To Dine list based on user reviews and we’re happy to say three restaurants in South Carolina made the list for 2019! One of them, a Japanese Yakitori, is especially adventurous and you’ll want to go!
The only Japanese-style restaurant of this kind to make the list has a delightful menu filled with choices that are as beautiful as they are flavorful.

And the most surprising thing of all? It’s not located in a super touristy spot. Instead, it’s at the far end of an unassuming and small shopping plaza in the Town of Summerville.

Myles and Jun Yakitori opened a little more than five years ago and doles out a small and cozy spot to get wow’d by their yakitori dishes and more.

If you’re wondering what the heck yakitori actually is… it’s grilled bites on a stick; skewers filled with amazing flavor.

And yakitori isn’t all you’ll find at Myles and Jun. Expect hearty soups in a rich broth and filled with colorful ingredients.

If you’re new to Japanese food, or have never been to a traditional yakitori restaurant (who has?!), you’ll find some tried-and-true faves on the menu, like these pot stickers.

With reviews summarizing the dining experience at Myles and Jun as “the best food I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE,” and images like these, it’s probably easy to see why they rank Number 33 in the Top 100 Places In The U.S. To Dine In 2019!

When you go (not IF you go), save room for one of these towering desserts. Maybe you should bring someone else to split it with you!
