If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend with the whole family, look no further. This incredible pick-your-own strawberry farm near New Orleans is a great spot for some fresh air, fun in the sun, and of course, all the strawberries you could pick.
You’ll find Mrs. Heather’s Pumpkin & Strawberry Farm over in the tiny town of Albany, Louisiana which is about an hour drive from New Orleans.

This family owned and operated farm has been a local favorite attraction for kids and adults since they opened in 1996.

They’re open seven says a week from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. until Mother’s Day, so this is your last weekend to fill up on delicious strawberries.

When you get to the farm, you’ll have the option to get a flat for $20, half flat for $12 or a bucket for $12.

Then you’ll head off to the endless acres of strawberry fields to pick the perfect strawberries.

Plump and juicy, there’s nothing like a freshly picked strawberry. You’ll have a hard time not eating all of them on the drive home.

See who can fill their bucket the fastest, or who can find the biggest strawberry for a little friendly competition.
