Now To those of you who have been longtime readers of Only In New York, or who have simply been living in the Empire State long enough, will remember that beginning back in 2014 a growing population of fairy homes inhabited Tinker Nature Park near Rochester. In heartbreaking news, earlier this year all of us found out that the magical Fairy Trail of the small-town park was being removed due to an increasing amount of vandalism that was taking place.
Leaving the state of New York without any fairy trails, our residents were left wondering where they would seek out enchanting trails like this that they were once able to explore. Thankfully, the creators of the original fairy homes at Tinker Nature Park have teamed up with Monroe County to unveil a bigger and better fairy trail that’s surprisingly not too far from where the original one was set up. Ready to see what this new magical stroll through the woods has to offer? Then let’s take a trip to New York’s newest fairy trail!
Now located inside of Monroe County’s largest park, Mendon Ponds Park will be your new favorite outdoor destination in Western New York.
