The dining room is light and bright, with tons of seating, which comes in handy on weekends when this place fills up. The service here is excellent, and even if you have to wait a bit for a table on a Saturday night, it’s well worth it.

Start with an order of the Coctel de Camaron, a refreshing dish that’s filled with shrimp, avocado, cucumber, and pico de gallo.

The mole is one of the house specialities, and it truly shines. This rich sauce is made with sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, cocoa, almonds, and chiles, and it’s absolutely divine.

You’ll want to watch for the Holy Mole enchiladas special. These tasty enchiladas are stuffed with chicken and jack cheese, then covered with three different mole sauces.

The smothered burritos here won first place in USA Today’s Reader’s Choice in 2018, and you’ll definitely want to sink your teeth into one of these.

Order a Cantarito to accompany your meal. It’s a delicious tequila-based cocktail that hails from Jalisco, Mexico. It’s served in a clay pot and includes orange juice, grapefruit juice, and lime juice.
