Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park was Montana’s first official state park, and to this day, it remains one of the most popular spots for Montanans on vacation. While the cavern itself is absolutely fantastic, there’s much more to the park than that. After you’ve explored the caves, you can take a scenic hike and find a perfect place to camp.

Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park is located in Whitehall, about 19 miles from Three Forks.

The cavern itself is magnificent and one of the most highly decorated limestone caverns in the Northwest.
