For nearly 120 years, this downtown watering hole has been a part of Laramie history, and it’s so worth a visit today.
The Buckhorn Bar was established in Laramie in 1900, as a place for trappers, travelers, and cowboys to drink, dine, and relax after a long day.

The bar quickly became famous throughout the state, and it’s certainly seen its share of wild moments! You can still see a bullet hole in the bar mirror from a 1971 shootout.
