We may not be known for our wines, but we definitely have a few vineyards in the Bayou State that are producing some top-quality wines. This hidden vineyard in Louisiana is certainly worthy of its own day trip, and you’re going to love it.

Located in West Monroe, Landry Vineyards is a family owned and operated hidden gem that’s been around for decades.

Landry Vineyards/Facebook The vineyard was established by Jeff and Libby Landry in 1999. They planted their first grapes along two acres in Folsom, Louisiana and became licensed as a Louisiana Native Winery in 2003.

After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the Landrys decided to relocate to West Monroe.

When you arrive at the 20-acre site, you’ll think you’ve been transported to Napa Valley.

Landry Vineyards offers tours from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. every Saturday.

During your tour, you’ll explore the vineyard, cellar, winery, crush pad, and bottling facility.
