Hires Big H got its start when Don Hale, a grocer from Salt Lake City, decided to change careers. His little drive-in restaurant opened in 1959, and the rest is history.

You’ll see what all the fuss is about once you sink your teeth into a Hires Big H. The quarter-pound burger is made with fresh-ground beef chuck that’s ground in the restaurant daily. You won’t find any frozen beef patties here!

Mix it up a little with a Country H (which includes bacon), a Western H (with BBQ sauce), or a Pastrami H (self-explanatory, right?).

You won’t find bags of frozen fries at Hires, either. These fries are hand-cut from whole potatoes every single day. And of course, you can have as much fry sauce as you’d like.
