Springtime has finally blossomed in the Natural State! The warmer weather has us more than ready to take an outdoor trip or two. One of the first places that should most definitely be on your seasonal road trip list is at the Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs. In addition to the aromatic flowers and gorgeous art pieces, this beloved botanical also has a unique fairy garden. Let’s tiptoe through the tulips, frolic through the fields, and head to this whimsical fairy garden.
The Garvan Woodland Gardens are such an enchanting place, but there’s one small spot that’s particularly magical.
Google/Ben Oakes The fairy garden was originally created in 2014 and took over 2,000 hours to complete. You can tour the tiny town by heading to the middle of the Gardens, near the pavilion. Garvan Woodland Gardens is located at 550 Arkridge Rd., Hot Springs, AR 71913.
All of the structures in this little village are created from things found around the gardens.
Google/Susan Al-Maliki Most of the buildings were made from old stumps. The town’s decorations are repurposed pebbles, tree limbs, and flowers.
You may notice some familiar buildings while walking around the fairy town.
TripAdvisor/Contessa T Like any Hot Springs’ native, the fairies do enjoy relaxing along Bathhouse Row.
Spring is our favorite time to visit the Gardens but its certainly not the only time.
Google/Joe Mac Take a trip now but be sure to come back during the holidays. The fairies like to decorate for the festivities, too!
The fine details put into this magical fairy garden are just one more reason to visit Garvan Woodland Gardens.
