Since 1999, Rowing Dock has been every Austin resident’s favorite summertime hangout spot. Launch your own watercraft or rent one of several options and set sail on Lady Bird Lake.

The tours begin at 8 p.m., leaving plenty of time to witness an iconic Texas sunset. Brilliant sapphire, pink, and amber hues form a colorful blanket overhead, reflecting on the water for an unforgettable evening adventure.

Paddle upstream to Red Bud Island or eastward in the direction of downtown. Few scenes trump the Austin skyline beneath a cloudless, pitch-dark night sky - save for the moon’s brilliant glimmer, of course.
