North Carolina is home to a variety of interesting small villages; each one has its own signature. But none quite compare to the English village located on a former dairy farm outside of Chapel Hill. This mixed-use community is more than a subdivision. It’s an enchanting mixed use space that pairs modern farming with Old English charm for a one-of-a-kind day trip you’re sure to cherish.
Fearrington Village is located just eight miles south of Chapel Hill. It was first settled in the late 1700s and became a dairy farm in the 1930s.

Beginning in 1974, careful development had begun to transform the dairy farm into a charming English village where people could live, businesses could thrive, and the cows could stay and live happily ever after. The beautiful community is open seven days a week and welcomes visitors to stroll the many walking paths found throughout.
