What makes this legendary restaurant incredibly unique is the fact it was once a small “dogtrot” log cabin that featured two rooms joined by a breezeway. Many people believe it was built during the mid-1800s by a French fur trader. During the Civil War, the cabin was used as a trading post, and in the early 1900s, it was used as a hunting camp. In the mid-1950s, this hunting camp evolved into a full-time restaurant, which is owned by the Ezell Family.
