A common misconception about great art is that it needs to be displayed in a traditional sense, like a museum, home, or some kind of special gallery devoted to different artists and creators. While most art is shown in this way, here in Colorado, we like to shake things up a bit – which is why we like to display our creations in surprising places like this Denver alley.

Recently opened in Denver’s LoDo neighborhood, the Dairy Block is housed within the historic Windsor Dairy Block building, which was constructed in 1918.

Boasting a number of different shops and restaurants, the Dairy Block offers an innovative experience unlike any other, thanks to its many smells, tastes, sights, and sounds.

“The Dairy Block art program is a carefully curated collection that expresses the DNA of Dairy Block through artwork,” explains the curators, going on to say that each artist is either from or has a strong connection to Denver.
